Built from the community, for the community.
Tech Smart Waste is a township-based recycling and waste management company in Cape Town. We support waste separation, recyclable material recovery, community education, and responsible disposal of non-recyclable waste.
Our work is focused on practical impact: cleaner sites, reduced landfill waste, recycling awareness, and opportunities for sorters, drivers, local bakkie hire, small businesses, and recycling partners.

Recycling centre development
A dedicated site for sorting, storage, and community recycling.
Tech Smart Waste is developing a recycling centre on a 6,200 square metre site. The development plan includes site preparation, fencing, rubble levelling, storage containers, improved collection systems, and future equipment such as a baler and plastic crusher.
